Refund policy

After delivery of your items, you will have a period of 48-hours to inform of us of any errors in the items that were received. Customers who received the wrong items and wish to return them will be provided with a return shipping label. 

To be eligible for a return, the item(s) must be in the original condition that they were received and in its original packaging. The receipt or proof of purchase will be needed to qualify.

Cancellations
We will happily cancel any order that has not yet been packed and shipped. Please note that a 5% cancellation fee will be applied to any cancelled order, made in error or otherwise, that has been initiated by the customer.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if an item is defective or damaged in-transit so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Any items purchased, customized and deemed defective afterwards (due to user negligence or otherwise) will not be accepted or replaced.

Acrylic sheets are sold in raw form and may exhibit slight imperfections, like minor chipping at corners and along edges, as well as rough edges due to mechanical cutting. This will not affect your final cuts of acrylic and is not considered damaged or defective. Items with 95% or more usable space will not be accepted for replacements.

Acrylic sheets received with scratched, bubbled, raised or crinkled masking are not considered defective, as this can be caused by any number of reasons. The masking serves as a protective layer only and does not affect the quality of the acrylic itself. As masking is treated differently from person to person, it is up to the individual to ensure the masking meets their laser cutting needs. 

Returns & Exchanges
Refunds can be requested for certain items within 7 days of receipt of order. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. All items must be returned in its original packaging and in the original condition it was received. A 5% restocking fee will be applied.

We do not accept refunds or returns on acrylic blanks, Beyond Acrylic prints, custom cuts, sale items, sample-size pieces or anything listed under Misfits & More. All these items are final sale.

We do not offer exchanges at this time. If you need to return an item within the 7 day return window, please contact us at hello@lyndecreekacrylic.com and we will help you arrange a return.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days with a 5% restocking fee applied. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at hello@lyndecreekacrylic.com.

Returned to sender (RTS)
A package that was shipped can be returned to Lynde Creek Acrylic because of, but not limited to:

  • Incomplete or incorrect shipping address 
  • Missing unit, apartment number and/or buzzer number
  • Addressee not at address (unknown, moved, or deceased)
  • Mail unclaimed by recipient at post office
  • Mail refused by the addressee at the time of delivery
  • Mail refused by the addressee after delivery (when permitted by the carrier)

If this happens the customer will be charged a 5% restocking fee and will be responsible for paying the return fees and any customs/import fees (if applicable) Lynde Creek Acrylic Inc. incurred due to the oversights that occurred with any of the reasons mentioned above. Lynde Creek Acrylic Inc. reserves the right to cancel RTS orders at any time and deduct the 5% restocking fee and return-postage fees as well as any customs/import fees (if applicable) from the order total before the refund is issued. Any customers who wish for the returned package to be shipped again will have to pay for a new shipping label, regardless if their original order qualified for free shipping. Lynde Creek Acrylic Inc. is not responsible for any prolonged shipping times caused by the package being returned and resent.

If you would rather cancel the order and place a new one instead of waiting for the returned package to be shipped again, please contact us at hello@lyndecreekacrylic.com so we can assess the situation and guide you on the best course of action going forward. Cancelled orders initiated by the customer will still be subjected to the 5% restocking fee and the return-postage fee being deducted from the order total.
