Leatherette is a synthetic leather and is laser safe. It is recommended that you test a small patch for cutting/engraving to determine the best settings for your laser.
Glowforge Settings Recommendation
Start with 1000 speed at 30% power. Test out engraving small shapes at a time and adjust power incrementally until the second layer of colour shows through.
***Always small patch test before starting a full-scale project as each laser machine behaves differently regardless of settings.***
Care Instructions
After engraving, gently wipe clean using a mild soap/detergent and a damp cloth.
